E-Attendance Policy

E-Attendance Policy

The E-Attendance Policy aims to clarify the regulatory procedures for synchronous online attendance. Synchronous e-attendance refers to the virtual presence of trainees in online classrooms and the verification of their real-time participation during lessons. Accordingly, the following policies and organizational procedures have been established:

Attendance through virtual classrooms is considered equivalent to traditional in-person attendance.

A minimum of 25% of the program/course hours must be delivered through synchronous virtual classrooms when the training is conducted in an asynchronous online format, applicable to programs lasting more than one month.

A minimum of 25% of the program hours must be delivered through synchronous virtual classrooms (whether virtual or in-person) in the case of blended learning, applicable to programs lasting more than one month.

All participants are required to attend sessions in accordance with the official training program schedule.

Trainees must attend no less than 80% of the total hours allocated for the program in which they are enrolled.

Attendance and absence are recorded, documented, and monitored electronically through the system’s attendance tracking indicators.

Failure to meet the minimum approved percentage of “e-attendance” will result in the trainee not fulfilling the course requirements and therefore not being awarded a certificate.

This policy applies to all enrolled trainees. The institution is committed to ensuring its implementation, and all staff members are also required to comply with it. Any violation of this policy will subject the offender to disciplinary action in accordance with the procedures followed at the university.
